| A day as improtant and special as Mothering Sunday, desrves an equally special venue, and the restaurants at Smiths Court are just that. This year we are offering our traditional Sunday Carvery in the Cumberland restaurant – ideal for famililies with young children whose attention span and appetite is more limited! – while in the Orangery, we are offering a three course lunch,beginning with a fresh Mimosa and canapes in the lounge or on the terrace, and finishing the same way, with coffee and petit fours. Regular diners will know that our excellent reputation for fresh, local produce is well deserved; those of you booking for the first time will, we are sure, become frequent diners. This year, whether you book the Carvery or the Orangery lunch, you can enjoy fresh Kentish meat from the Butcher at Brogdale; fresh fish from the Co-operative at Romney Marsh, and vegetables and fruit from Thanet farms and gardens. So come on Dad, it's time to spoil Mum and Nan; to bring them to a beautiful venue, to enjoy fresh, home-cooked food (and perhaps to remind them, that in June we have a rather splendid fathers day......!) |

| Overnighter Stay Saturday night, book Mothering Sunday Lunch, and enjoy a late (5pm) check out. Book Saturday dinner in the Orangery, and while we can't guarantee red sails in the sunset, we can certainly toast mum with a glass of chilled champagne while she looks for them! |
